Picnik is by far my favorite site for editing and creating beautiful, unique visual pieces – plus it helps get the creative juices going when you are in a funk.
It is amazing. Here are a few of the random pieces I’ve made lately and it only took an hour. Have fun and poke around with the useful tool.
1. Turn your facebook profile into a collage like something Andy Warhol or the Greatful Dead would have created.
“The soul should always stand ajar. Ready to welcome the ecstatic experience.” - Emily Dickinson
2. Take 2 pictures and give it a simple background, add some text of location.
Here is one featuring 2 perspectives of the San Clemente Pier.

“Curiosity about life in all of its aspects, I think, is still the secret of great creative people.” -Leo Burnett
3. Take a wordle and add some color and a frame to it.
Wordle can be found at http://wordle.net =)
Here is a before and after of a wordle I made over. I think I like the 1st version best though.

“Words mean more than what is set down on paper. It takes the human voice to infuse them with deeper meaning.” Maya Angelo
4. Make a festive holiday card with the premade scrapbook designs and graphics.
Happy Halloween

“I thought how unpleasant it is to be locked out; and I thought how it is worse, perhaps, to be locked in.” -Virginia Woolf
5. Take a simple quote or phrase and add your own spice to it.
Here is one all about taking something awesome, and adding your own spice to it.

Have fun out there with Picnik =) I always suggest doing this for an hour anytime you’re stuck at a place in life, your career or relationship… just get creative. Begin to play again. Do something just for the sake of creating something. You just may make yourself smile, along with those you share it with.
Enjoy and be sure to share your creations with me =)
