Let's make the word 'allocate' popular!
The Allocation Station is one way to look at our monthly expenses and how we prioritize them. We have choices.
This was inspired by the community within the Revenue Ringlet. Ross Murker and I pulled this together because we know that everyone gets to make their own choices. This is inspired to help you and your teens, or even business partners and friends allocate responsibly.

Q.What does it cost?
A.It’s a $10 investment for the digital download.
-
Q.How soon will I get it?
A.You will receive an email within 24 hours of purchase. I had a little challenge getting the full book to embed on my website so unfortunately it’s not instant access, yet.
-
Q.Who would benefit from this?
A.Anyone who is earning income could benefit from this perspective? As we navigate our careers and our family dynamics, the ability to allocate responsibly changes and it’s important that we advance the dialogue on such an important part of life.
-
Q.Who was your inspiration for learning to budget?
A.After writing Financial Joy (which is a book for business people to notice their sales patterns so you have money to work with), I mentioned to my Financial Advisor that I didn’t like budgeting and she gave me a quick little lecture. I did some online searching and found The Budget Mom and the TBM community. I still send people that direction all the time because I love Miko’s approach with the highlighter method. She’s a dynamic storyteller and excellent teacher.

Q.Who illustrated the book?
A.This was me guiding AI for the first time for visuals in Canva. Providing creative direction from your own imagination is tricky. I hope the visuals inspire you and expand your understanding of allocating and prioritizing.
-
Q.How could we collaborate to bring this to a small group?
A.I’m a professional collaborator! The conversations that will bubble up from this book are going to create opportunities for parents to lean in. I’m happy to hop on zoom and do a training for a team or come and speak to your group.
